Adding a Date Filter in F8

Hello. There's Technician, Vendor, Machine Make and High Volume Client filters but not a date filter. I was wondering if their could be a date filter added to the F8 section for ordering parts. That would help a lot!

What date would you like to have it filtered by the date created, the date ordered, the date received?  Would you like it to be something similar to the options from the Shift+F7 Job Perusal form where it is by ranges of 0 to 3 Days, 4 to 7 days, 8 to 14 days, 15 to 21 days, or more than three weeks?

SiWe would like the appt scheduled date be filtered so we can make sure all parts are ordered in time before it's too late. Like where the filters are in the F8 field under where it says "To further filter showings, select first for..."

Currently, the easiest, fastest way we can tell if parts haven't been ordered for a job scheduled for the next day, is by going to the map and pressing W. That isn't the most efficient way b/c we have ppl moving/rearranging things on the map throughout the day and when someone else is on it, the jobs highlighted in blue disappear and some could be missed. The parts list that we print for each tech at the end of the day only show the parts that were ordered so if the parts aren't ordered, that job won't show up on the parts pull list.

The F8 Screen itself doesn't have the schedule date.  So we would have to figure out a way to get it display by a date that is not included in the Parts file.  Filtering by the date the request was created would probably be an easier task. Have you tried using the Job perusal to look for jobs in the waiting for parts status.  You can even filter by tech of HVC from there as well.  This may give you similar results within the confines of current capabilities.

Yes but we have so many in Waiting for NonStocked Parts that it's harder to look through it that it that way. If the ticket itself isn't marked as Waiting for Parts and is marked as "Currently Scheduled" or something, the ticket won't be found in "Waiting for NonStocked Parts". I tried ordering parts before using Shift-F7 but I found a lot of jobs were being missed. Filtering by the date scheduled is really what we need b/c that will help us catch the last ones we may have missed. Here's an example: Yesterday one of the PO's was missed when one of the girls was looking for all the jobs who's parts weren't ordered and on the schedule for today (clicking F5 and W). The parts pullers didn't catch it because it wasn't on their printed parts list since the part technically hadn't been ordered. So the job was still on the schedule for today and had to be cancelled. I don't really care if it's in the F8 field or not; just whatever you think you can do would be great. Thanks for your time.
